SW8-14

Not all radios have SW8-14. If there is no wafer on the outside of the oscillator module chassis (rear of radio), no SW8-14 or SW8-15.

The SW8-14 switch has 2 or 3 resistors on it. This is the side of the wafer that faces away from the oscillator chassis.

SW8-14 has it's very own schematic symbol that doesn't match anything else! It has something to do with the 'cathode returns' and switching resistors in and out to the cathode of V5 in the 1st IF stage.

The schematic I have and the one example of the switch I have don't match.
The purple line connecting so many terminals is from observing the switch.
It is not shown on the schematic.
