There is a substantial difference between T6 in the old radios and T6 in the new radios.
As I discovered the hard way on radio #4 (old), the center coil form is not very strongly attached to the square
end pieces and if extream care is not used while removing the insides, it spins and breaks all the wires.
Go to the repair page to see how that turned out.

Schematics for early (left) and late radios.
The wire colors shown are my wire colors, not the original. When I rewired my first one, I couldn't
make any sense of the old wires.

After the fact, I discovered the color changes I made:
Black => orange
Green => green
Red => yellow
Blue => black
See resistance tables.
See under chassis wiring.
I assigned my own colors using 22 ga silicone wire. I kept the colors the same on all the T6 transformers I rewired.
