The Hallicrafters SX-28 Website

My 5th radio
Stuff you only need to read once:
-
This site is currently made by and paid for by one guy.
It would be nice to find people to help out. And I don't mean
with money, I mean with being part of the effort.
-
No cookies, javescript, accounts, users, AI, logins, one pixel images, or ads.
Maybe the web host records IP addresses but I never asked, don't care.
-
Everything is public domain. Some reference links might go to copyrighted material.
-
How this website came to be. Things like 'first radio' and 'radio #4' refer to
the seven radios that have been part of this project.
-
The e-mail address for anything is chiliwhiz@pm.me. This is a new Proton Mail address.
-
If you want to contribute something, please do. Can be anything from an e-mail message to a fully formed HTML page.
-
If you spot an error, and there are lots of them, please point it out. Use the file name at the bottom of each page.
Eventually this will be a good resource. Don't worry about misspelled words. I have a tool that will eventually find it.
The same goes for broken links and missing pictures.
-
I'm starting to find that Google Gemini AI is pretty usefull.
Usefull does not mean accurate. I need to examine every
response for absurd inaccuracies. Pointing out the absuridity
always results in a corrected response. When I do include
something sourced from AI, I clearly identify it.
New Features - Comments on the lastest stuff.
The links below go to the older pages about the author's radios.
They're left here because someone might find some use in them.
